HTTP Request Online

A simple online HTTP client: choose a method, set headers and a body, and inspect the exact response, including status line, headers, timing and body. Redirects are not followed, so you see each response as it is.

Tips

  • Redirects are not followed, so a 301 or 302 shows the Location header instead of the final page.
  • For Basic authentication add Authorization: Basic <Base64 of user:password>. Use the text to Base64 encoder to build it.
  • Requests to private networks and localhost are blocked for security. Responses are limited to 2 MB.

Frequently asked questions

Can I test APIs that require authentication?

Yes. Add an Authorization header (for example Basic or Bearer). Requests are relayed by our server and are never logged.
