Compare Base64 Strings

Paste two Base64 values (from logs, e-mail MIME, JWTs or APIs). The comparator normalizes each side, compares the decoded bytes, and reports whether they are identical—even when one has line breaks, missing padding or Base64URL characters.

What this Base64 comparator checks

  1. Text equality after stripping whitespace
  2. Equality after normalizing Base64URL (-_) to standard (+/) and fixing padding
  3. Decoded byte equality (the ground truth for APIs and files)

Use it when a MIME-wrapped e-mail attachment, a JWT segment, and a log line should be the same payload but look different on screen.

คำถามที่พบบ่อย

Why do two Base64 strings look different but mean the same?

MIME wrapping, optional padding, and Base64URL (-_) vs standard (+/) change the text without changing the decoded bytes.

Is this a text diff or a byte compare?

Both: you see a text-level check and a decoded-byte equality check. Byte equality is what APIs and crypto libraries care about.
