Across Reddit (r/privacy, r/webdev, r/SideProject, r/prettyusefulwebsites), the same complaints keep ranking:
- “Free” converters upload photos and PDFs to unknown servers.
- JSON / hash / JWT sites are ad farms that may log payloads.
- QR tools force signups or wrap URLs in tracking short links.
- Phone photos leak GPS EXIF on marketplaces and social posts.
We treat those threads as a product backlog—not limited to Base64.
Shipped for that demand
| Pain | Tool |
|---|---|
| GPS / camera metadata | Strip EXIF |
| File / text checksums | Hash generator |
| Ad-filled JSON beautifiers | JSON formatter |
| UUID / GUID bulk | UUID generator |
| Epoch ↔ date | Timestamp converter |
| Password generators that “phone home” | Password generator |
| QR signup / tracking links | QR generator |
| Expensive mobile data | Compress image, Gzip |
| Paste & preview Base64 | Base64 reader |
All of these run in the browser. Open DevTools → Network while you use them: your file bytes should not leave the page.
Still on the roadmap (same Reddit signals)
- HEIC → JPG (iPhone → Windows)
- PDF merge / split without upload
- Regex tester
We will not ship Instagram / LinkedIn / Pinterest scrapers—those violate platform terms and copyright. For everything else that is private and useful, this site is fair game.
