Ask any developer or corporate IT engineer which browser tabs they keep open and you will hear the same jobs:
| Job | Why they search | Our tool |
|---|---|---|
| Debug a pattern on a log line | “regex tester online” | Regex tester |
| Decode a crontab / CronJob | “cron expression explainer” | Cron explainer |
| Compare two configs / API bodies | “diff checker online” | Diff checker |
| Plan a VPC or firewall rule | “CIDR calculator” / subnet | Subnet calculator |
| Turn Helm/K8s YAML into JSON | “yaml to json” | YAML ↔ JSON |
| Pretty-print an API payload | “json formatter” | JSON formatter |
| Decode a bearer token | “jwt decoder” | JWT decoder |
| Hash a file / checksum | “sha256 online” | Hash generator |
The corporate requirement
Security and compliance teams increasingly block paste-sites that upload source, configs or PII. The fix is not “stop using tools”—it is tools that run with Canvas / Web Crypto / pure JS and tell you to verify in DevTools → Network.
